Applications of BBa_K642000
The 2012 uOttawa team continued with the characterization of this part. The previous characterization was completed in haploid BY4742 yeast cells. The most recent characterization was completed in diploid BY4743 yeast cells. By characterizing the Tet repressor tagged to BFP under multiple conditions we can get a better understanding of how it works and be able to predict its function for construction of gene networks. The gene networks and methods of characterization can be found on the 2012 uOttawa iGEM page.
